MoCo Moving packs items safely and strategically to ensure they not only arrive without damage, but are well labeled and organized for you during your unboxing. We only use top quality bubble wrap, packing paper, boxes, and tape to ensure your items are wrapped carefully and fit snug without movement.

Every box we pack is filled to a specific desired capacity that is optimized to the shape, weight, and fragility of the contents. We then strategically stack and organize every box in our truck based on their contents to ensure the safety of your boxes and furniture.

When MoCo Moving packs your items, we keep things specifically organized and labeled to the same drawers or locations within their respective rooms.

Our Process

  • Carefully Wrapping

    Our team of movers comes equipped with high quality bubble wrap, packing paper, tape, and boxes. During this phase, our crew will take the time to carefully wrap your items with bubble wrap and packing paper.

  • Separating Delicates

    MoCo Moving will separate any identified delicates and put them into their own boxes, which will be placed in a specific spot on our truck and packed to be light in weight. Throughout this stage, MoCo Moving separates your items based on their shape, size, and weight to ensure every box is packed safely.

  • Packing

    Once we have carefully wrapped your belongings and separated your delicate items, our team will strategically box all items with additional packing paper to ensure they do not get damaged, scratched, or move around within the boxes. Every box is carefully taped and secured by our team to ensure safe transit.

  • Labeling

    Our team will specifically label every box we pack with the location and contents. Our team always groups box contents by their original drawer and/or location.

    This not only enables our team to strategically pack and protect your items within the truck, but also saves you time and keeps you organized while unpacking.

    We’ll carry your boxes right into the room they belong to when we unload!

  • Our services are priced on a per job basis. We provide free pricing estimates directly from our company owners.

    The price of your job may vary depending on the quantity, weight, size, and value of your items being packed (e.g., delicate, higher value items require more wrapping, which will in turn lead to more materials used by our team and more labor time spent packing, and a higher price to pack).

  • Per our company policy, all drawers must be emptied prior to the arrival of our crew on move day. All frames, lamps, drawer contents, electronics, or items small enough to fit in a box must be boxed for our crew to move them.

    If we’re packing you and completing these tasks, you don’t have to worry about being packed prior to our arrival!

  • When you move with us, the price on your estimate is your final price. There are zero hidden fees!

    We will always pack and move what we promise to move in your quote for the same price on the day of the move.

    As long as the inventory list (i.e., items to be moved and/or packed) outlined in your quote is consistent with your inventory list on the day of the job, the price never changes!

  • Yes we do! Unless otherwise negotiated to your preference, every packing quote includes the price of our team supplying the materials.

  • Our company owners directly supervise our professionally trained crew members on every move. We also have company owners provide your quote and communicate with you directly throughout your entire move.

    Our close supervision and direct client relationships have enabled us to provide exceptional customer service and deliver stress-free moves to businesses and families throughout the D.C. area.

    MoCo Moving is also fully licensed and insured. We always fully insure and wrap every piece of furniture.
